Ginger Chien has an M.S. from Princeton University and a B.S. from the University of Washington, both in electrical engineering with emphasis on communications theory.

She finds much joy speaking on personal growth topics at schools and conferences, sharing tales of life at open-mic storytelling nights, and watching a certain rural Washington town light up year after year when her transgender rock band, The Nasty Habits, comes to play.
