L.M. Zoller and Robin Elan
(Graphic by Robin Elan, used with permission of the artist)

L.M. ZOLLER and ROBIN ELAN, coauthors of the zines “The Corners of Their Mouth” and “The Queer Language of Flowers”, will share stories from their journey to answer pressing questions like, “How do I say ‘sapphic angst’ with flowers?” and, “Just what is the queerest food?”

L.M. Zoller (they/them or ze/zir) is a writer and queer food blogger. In zir spare time, L.M. enjoys swimming, cake decorating, and watching bad movies.

Robin Elan (they/them) is an illustrator and zinester. They draw inspiration from their childhood as an anxious only child growing up in the woods, and from the urban trans/queer community they now call home.

Due to COVID-19 concerns and the closure of City of Edmonds facilities, including the Plaza Room, Joselito Castillo will be rescheduled as our featured storyteller at a later date. Joselito had been scheduled to be with us on Monday, March 9.

JOSELITO CASTILLO is inspired by the poetry of storytelling, memories of his grandfather’s dramatic tales, and the myths and corridos that filled his childhood. He weaves movement and music to embody the stories, and he delights in the power to transport listeners to another time and place.
